Chairman's Message
Dear Colleagues and Friends:
Welcome to the web site of a new beginning for Chiropractic in the State of
Nebraska! This is the Internet site for Partnership Helping Align Nebraska -
PHANe.
As practitioners of the art of chiropractic we all know we now have one of
the best scope of practice in the United States. Doctors of Chiropractic in
other states are quite envious of our status. As a mater of fact, the same
holds true for other healthcare providers and insurance companies. They
either want what we have or they want to take away what we as a
profession have worked so hard to obtain.
What will the future bring us? Will we be able to continue to provide the
services to patients that we have grown accustomed to doing? In the next
five to ten years will insurance still pay for our care?
The purpose of PHANe is to help insure the future of Chiropractic in
Nebraska. PHANe is a committee of the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians
Association. Our goal is to preserve the rich heritage of Chiropractic our
forefathers gave us.
We can no longer wait passively and do nothing. The time has come for
ALL of us to step forward to help insure the future of Chiropractic in
Nebraska!!
Our 2008 PACs will send a powerful message of unity on behalf of our
profession. Our message will be clearly heard by policy makers in both
Lincoln and Washington, D.C. Supporting PHANe ensures that
Chiropractors in Nebraska will have a meaningful voice in issues that are
closely approaching that are going to affect our livelihood.
Interest groups from many other disciplines work to have their voices
heard, and we need to be at the forefront of the debate. The time to take a
positive action step is now!!
